Sean Hudspeth becomes the first Singaporean to stand on the GT World Challenge Europe podium in the last race of the season!

After being so close to the podium the whole year, Sean and the team had one last chance at the last round of the championship at Zandvoort in the Netherlands, so the pressure was on!

After being unlucky in race 1 with tyre pickup, Sean had a good start in race 2, managing to get up to P3 after starting P5. He also did a good job to stay on track on dry-weather tyres when it started to rain while not losing any time to his competitors in front.

Nicola then took over, and after a solid pitstop from AF Corse, they managed to keep the position into the second half of the race. The final 30 minutes was incredibly stressful for the whole team as they watched from the sidelines while Nicola battled hard to keep the position. He even dropped back to P4 several times before finally fighting back to P3 over the finish line by only 2 tenths of a second!

This would be the first podium for AF Corse’s 296 GT3 in the GTWCE Sprint Championship and the first for both drivers! Well deserved!
