Singaporean Sean Hudspeth taking the positives from an unlucky season opener in Le Castellet, France.

After a promising start to the weekend with strong pace, Sean and the JMW Motorsport team had to settle for P10 at the end of the 4 Hours of Paul Ricard, after starting P7.

“The start of the race was actually pretty good, with Giacomo making it up to P3 during the first stint. Unfortunately, due to a safety car infringement shortly after, he had to serve a 15 second time penalty during the first pit stop. This was followed by an additional drive through penalty for abusing track limits which put him down in 9th or 10th. When I took over for the second stint, I really struggled with the car as I had a lot of oversteer but only on right hand corners. It was strange and the car felt totally different to how it had the whole weekend so we need to have a proper look and find out what happened.” – Sean

Nevertheless, Sean and the team are working hard and confident that they can turn things around at the next race in Imola Italy in around 3 weeks time. Make sure to follow the countdown timer on Sean’s website and watch for the link to watch the race live, which will appear 3 days prior. Enjoy!
