Solid performance for Singaporean Sean Hudspeth in Italian GT Finale

Sean qualified P5 on Saturday only half a tenth of a second from P2, Sean was optimistic about the race. “Our pace seems really good and I think we will have a good car for the race”. Sean took the start on Sunday and managed to get up to P3 only to fall back a few places as he struggled during the stint. “I didn’t have the drink anymore after about a quarter of the way through my stint so I was completely finished by the half way point of my stint”. Nevertheless, Sean managed to hand the car over to teammate Carrie Schreiner in a top 5 position. In the end, teammate Davide Rigon, who drove the last stint, managed to bring the car home in P6 overall. “Unfortunately there weren’t any safety cars the whole race which meant that we weren’t able to make up our 20 seconds of success penalty from the last race. P6 was the best we could do given the circumstances”.

Sean plans to continue his training and rehabilitation from his injury just 2 months ago in preparation for the season next year!
